DENTON – “We really didn’t know him well,” said the staff at AdjustFirst Chiropractor in Denton about the late Denton Police Chief George Bacorn, “we just wanted to support the police officers…just everyone spoke so highly of him.”
Chief Bacorn, a 36 year veteran of the Denton Police Department, was killed in a tragic car crash in September. The Caroline County community has come together to honor his life in many ways since, but Dr. John Jennings at AdjustFirst said that God told him he needed to do more. So, he turned the easement between his practice and 6th Street into a memorial garden for the beloved Chief.
The ceremony to dedicate the garden took place on Friday, October 16. Pastor Robert Boyles of White Fields Worship Church in Queen Anne led the small group of Denton officials, police officers, and community members in prayer during the dedication.
