Virgina Winnie Cahall, of Goldsboro MD, passed away on March 09, 2025 surrounded by her family, She was 90 years old.
Virginia was born on May 30, 1934, to Smith Benjamin Greeson and Augusta Hedderich Greeson in Queen Anne, MD. At the age of 16, Virginia got married and began her family. Throughout the years, she was involved in various community organizations, including being a life member of the Women of the Moose, a member of Mooseheart, and part of the Trinity United Methodist Church as well as the Ladies Auxiliary at Goldsboro Fire Department. Virginia worked at Ragged Robin for approximately ten years. She loved yard sales, socializing, and, above all, cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, five Children, William Ross Cahall Jr, Phyllis Ann Wothers, Janice Virgina Coleman, Diane G. Cahall, Jennifer Lynn Hendricks, and eight siblings, Sarah Bockner, Sis Bishop, ethel Morris, Thomas Greeson, George Greeson, Donald Greeson, Max Greeson, Jack Greeson.
Virginia is survived by her two sons, Rusty Cahall (Suzanne) of Ocean City, MD, and Bryan Cahall (Robin) of Goldsboro, MD, along with her daughter-in-law, Ellen Cahall. She also leaves behind fourteen beloved grandchildren: Steven Cahall, Paula Kinnamon, David Coleman, Valerie Schaefer, Jonathan Cahall, Erin Cahall, Ben Cahall, Justin Ailor, Amber Daus, Matt Hedricks, Billy Hedricks, Mary Ann Johnson, Bo Cahall, and Bryanne Glotta. Additionally, Virginia cherished her special friends, Susan and Ben Simpson, Mrs. Louis, Ann Schultz, Mary Hickman, and Patty Schulties. Her legacy includes twenty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled at Goldsboro Fire Hall in Goldsboro, MD, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1 PM to 2 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM. The family invites you to join them for food and fellowship after the service.
