Helen Marie Craft departed this life to enter into her eternal home at Genesis Seaford Center in Seaford, Delaware on Friday, September 11, 2026. She was 93.
Born October 30, 1932 in Harrington, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late William D Hopkins and Margaret Moore Hopkins.
Helen is survived by four sons: Jack Salmons and his wife Bonnie of Federalsburg, Charles Salmons and his wife Linda and Jim Salmons and his wife Bea all of New Burn, NC; Norris Craft and his wife Candy of Preston, and two daughters Verna Wynn of Vanceboro, NC and Wanda Lloyd of Bridgeville, Delaware.
She is also survived by two sisters: Peg Potocki of Smyrna, Delaware and Lois Todd and her husband Jim of Harrington, Delaware; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As well as her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Norris L Craft, Sr., and her two brothers: Jim Hopkins and Bill Hopkins. She was also preceded in death by a nephew Paul Potocki.
Helen took great pride in her home and worked diligently in keeping it immaculate. She also enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. Her macaroni and cheese and dumplings were always a welcome sight on the table.
She was a member of Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg and taught Sunday School as well as a member of the Wonderful World of Widows Group.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 12:00 to 12:45 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Burial will be private.
