Linda Guy of Federalsburg passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026 in Seaford, Delaware. She was 77.
She was born on October 30, 1948 in Buffalo, NY; the daughter of the late Simon Skibicki and Viola (Klima) Skibicki.
Linda served her professional life in hairdressing and Fisher Price, where her creativity and work ethic shone brightly. However, it was her role as a devoted homemaker that brought her the greatest fulfillment. She took immense pride in her home, where she nurtured not only her beautiful garden but also the hearts of her family. As the loving wife of Terrance Guy and mother to two sons Jeffrey and Jason, Linda's love was the cornerstone of her family's life.
A steadfast believer, Linda found solace and strength in her Christian faith, notably through her deep commitment to Bible study and spiritual reading. She inspired those around her with her unwavering faith and dedication, always extending kindness and support to others.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Terrance Guy of Federalsburg, two sons:
Jeffrey Guy of Seaford, and Jason Guy and his wife Tatyana of Rogersville, TN; and five grandchildren: Emanuel Davis, Jonathan Guy, Mark Kobchenko, Vanessa Meinhold and Matthew Kobchenko.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Frederick Skibicki, Evelyn Kazmierczak, Lee Skibicki, and Kathy Ott.
A celebration of life service will be held on September 21st 2026 at 11:00 at Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00.
